Thanks for stopping by! We’re a close-knit family team — Shirley McCrystal (owner), her sister Valerie Hughes, and Valerie’s daughter Bronwyn Hunn, our Wedding & Events Co-ordinator. Together, we’ve created a warm, welcoming space where everyone — pets included — can relax and enjoy our stunning countryside setting.

Our charming cottages (once a pigsty!) and beautifully restored barn blend rustic character with modern comfort, all set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The farmhouse itself dates back to the 14th century and is steeped in history — even linked to King John and the Pope’s Legate!

Rooted in the historic parish of Acrise — named for its ancient oaks — our venue carries the spirit of the land and its stories, from the Domesday Book to D-Day.
